The Man Behind The Movement
Danial Petrie, was born and raised on the west side of Rockford, Illinois. He and his sister, Holly, were taken from their parents when Danial was just 3 years old. From that point on he was in and out of foster care while his father was incarcerated and his mother was in and out of unhealthy relationships. He really did not change his life for the good until his sophomore year in high school. Things started to click and he realized he was meant to be different. He always desired to be a good person and quickly became a very passionate leader. He went on to be the first in his family to graduate high school and eventually received his college degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health and Psychology. Once his oldest son Brayden was born in 2008, it really changed his heart toward being a positive influence for his son and future children.
